The bi-annual event \u2013 which traditionally takes place in even years &#8211; saw a four-year hiatus when its 2020 version was cancelled due to pandemic restrictions. Its return in 2022 therefore was particularly triumphant, and event organisers are building upon the momentum for an even better edition in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn terms of atmosphere, the 2022 edition of the show was undoubtedly the happiest of any tradeshow that I can remember,\u201d says Joyce de Winter, director of Intertraffic Worldwide Events. \u201cEveryone was thrilled to see each other and meet up to do business face-to-face; attendance levels were encouraging and our halls were permanently busy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The return of the show after its four-year absence coincided with its 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, heralding a new chapter for the event. Show organisers are now keen to build upon the renewed enthusiasm throughout the trade with a 2024 edition that surpasses all expectations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntertraffic will stage its largest-ever event floor this time around, with over 900 public and private organisations across 12 halls presenting the latest solutions and developments in mobility and traffic technology,\u201d says Intertraffic\u2019s senior brand marketing manager Carola Jansen-Young. \u201cFrom road safety to parking solutions, intelligent infrastructure, traffic management to smart mobility and everything in between, we are uniting professionals from over 140 countries to network, learn and be inspired.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 900 confirmed exhibitors represent a 12 per cent increase on the 2022 edition, where just under 800 exhibitors were in attendance. Visitor numbers meanwhile are also expected to soar, with pre-registration indicating that this year\u2019s event will top the 2022 attendance figure of 23,526.<\/p>\n<p>For Smart Display, taking clients out to RAI Amsterdam is a familiar project. The stand designer and installer has been involved with the event for six years, and is a trusted partner for UK brands looking to exhibit at the Netherlands-based exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are heading out to Amsterdam once again for Intertraffic this year and, as always, Smart Display will make our lives so much easier,\u201d says Chris Spinks, managing director of intelligent traffic safety specialist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westcotec.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Westcotec<\/a>. \u201cExhibiting is the best part of the job for me and we have a lot of dates on our calendar for this year, but we wouldn\u2019t want to do it without Smart Display. Our stand has become part of our Westcotec identity, and it is still standing steady after many many rounds of being built and dismantled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For brands exhibiting overseas, appointing a trusted and experienced stand-builder is even more essential than it is for domestic events. Smart Display is experienced in transporting goods and stand elements through customs, as well as liaising with the event organiser to ensure that all paperwork is completed ahead of schedule for a seamless exhibition experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExhibiting overseas is very different to driving a few hours down the motorway to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenec.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NEC<\/a>,\u201d says Smart Display\u2019s project manager Stefan Dyer. \u201cWe are taking a lot more stands out to Europe this year and last, and there is a lot more planning involved. Everything needs checking twice, but that is what we do. And it ensures that all our client has to remember is their passport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Intertraffic Amsterdam returns to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rai.nl\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RAI Amsterdam<\/a> on 16-19 April.
