{"id":1527,"date":"2023-10-31T15:44:59","date_gmt":"2023-10-31T15:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smart-display.co.uk\/?p=1527"},"modified":"2023-10-31T15:44:59","modified_gmt":"2023-10-31T15:44:59","slug":"game-on-for-fsb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smart-display.co.uk\/game-on-for-fsb\/","title":{"rendered":"Game on for FSB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sports equipment exhibition FSB has reported a 56 per cent increase in footfall compared to its most recent edition, firmly placing it back on the map as the trade\u2019s premier exhibition for sports flooring and leisure infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The Cologne-based exhibition \u2013 which drew to a close on Friday \u2013 is co-located with pool and wellness event <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aquanale.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aquanale<\/a>. Between them, the two shows attracted 25,000 visitors from 123 countries, putting footfall back at pre-pandemic levels. Both shows also reported a strengthened international presence, with the majority of visitors \u2013 60 per cent \u2013 originating from outside Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Display\u2019s client <a href=\"https:\/\/playrite.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Playrite<\/a> confirmed the buoyancy of the show, reporting that the aisles were busier than they have been for several years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe definitely saw an increase in footfall,\u201d says Chris Pickles, director at Playrite, a specialist supplier of surfaces for sports and leisure. \u201cIt was busier than we have seen in some time, and the increased attendance made for an excellent show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Chris \u2013 a regular at FSB and a repeat customer at Smart Display \u2013 having the right stand was even more important in making the brand\u2019s presence known amidst an impressive total of 552 exhibitors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had so many comments on the stand,\u201d he says. \u201cSmart Display maximised the height of the stand, meaning that Playrite was the name that could be seen right along the corridor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now back in the UK, Chris and those at the helm of Playrite are already planning their next exhibition appearance at FSB 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to keep driving the future developments of these sectors forward as a crucial market partner,\u201d says Oliver Frese, chief operating officer of FSB\u2019s showground Koelnmesse. \u201cBoth trade fairs have impressively consolidated their leading positions as international industry platforms, and we can now build on the successes that we achieved before the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The next edition of FSB will return to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.koelnmesse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Koelnmesse<\/a> on 28 to 31 October 2025.
