The show on the road

Intertraffic Amsterdam has finished up its 28th edition on a high with record attendance and news of further expansion. The event – which returned to its home in the Netherlands earlier this month – welcomed its most diverse range of delegates to date, with over 75 per cent arriving from 55 countries outside of the Netherlands. Organiser RAI Amsterdam also took the opportunity to announce its latest expansion at the show, revealing a brand new edition of Intertraffic which will debut in Bangkok next April.

Smart Display is an exhibition stand installer at Intertraffic events at venues including the RAI Amsterdam.

“Intertraffic’s expansion to Bangkok marks an important step in addressing Southeast Asia’s mobility challenges,” says Nynke Lipsius, Group Director Mobility, RAI Amsterdam. “These developments create strong opportunities for international and regional technology providers active within the Intertraffic ecosystem. Our presence in Bangkok will foster collaboration and knowledge exchange, accelerating a route to smart, safe, and sustainable mobility for all.”

Intertraffic is expanding into Asia with a new event in Bangkok.

The forthcoming edition of Intertraffic Asia will mirror the established business model of Intertraffic Amsterdam, which this time around focused on a range of contemporary topics including;

  • Future-Proof Roads: Building Safe & Climate-Resilient Infrastructure
  • Smart Traffic Management for a Safer and Greener Future
  • Drive the Future: Smart, Customized & Autonomous Mobility
  • Roadmap to Zero: Aligning Safety Goals with Asset Management Excellence
  • Revolutionizing Parking: Smarter Systems, Frictionless Experience
  • Urban Mobility Reinvented: Smart, Safe & Climate-Resilient

For Smart Display, this edition was another opportunity to create a striking exhibition presence for clients hailing from both the UK and the US. Building upon its extensive experience designing for and installing at Intertraffic Amsterdam, the Smart Display team built for its regular client Westcotec, new recruit Roadside Technologies and US-based Houston Radar, which entrusted the design and build of its stand from its HQ in Texas, USA.

“The best thing about working with Smart Display is that all we have to do is show up and we have a nice clean booth ready to work from,” says Stephanie Lyons, sales & marketing manager for Houston Radar. “We started working with Smart Display when a fellow exhibitor recommended them, and the stand always looks very professional. Working with a UK-based installer is easier because they are closer to Intertraffic Amsterdam, and there are no language issues.”

“Everything went really well at Intertraffic Amsterdam, and the guys on site were brilliant as always,” agrees Will Spinks, business development manager at Westcotec.

With eight regular stand builds and a newly-acquired status as the preferred supplier for the Terrapinn event, Smart Display is your trusted partner for all aspects of exhibition stand design and build.
