Smart Display has been shortlisted for three awards at next month’s ESSA Awards 2025 in recognition of its exceptional work across the events industry. Each company was permitted to submit three entries in total across the list of 16 categories, meaning that Smart Display has secured the maximum possible entries for next month’s ceremony.

Smart Display received finalist status for Best Stand Build over 30 sq m, Best Stand under 30 sq m and Young Person of the Year, for which new recruit Elliott Haigh was nominated. Finalists were selected by an extensive and independent judging panel, and picked out examples of the delivery of exceptional service and product at events throughout the past 12 months.

“Selecting those to be shortlisted is never an easy task, and this year has proven to be more difficult than ever,” says ESSA’s CEO Andrew Harrison. “Our fantastic judges meticulously assessed each submission for each category, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the ESSA Conference & Awards on 4 December when the winners will be announced.”

Smart Display submitted entries for the Best Stand Build over 30 sq m and Best Stand Build under 30 sq m for Omniplex and SA Catapult respectively. The designs were shortlisted due to their innovative design features, re-usability and sustainable aspects and demonstrations of generating customer engagement through impactful design.
