Organic growth

The Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX) has cemented its position as hub of direction, innovation and networking at its 2024 edition. The show – which opened for business yesterday and continues today – aimed to go above and beyond its prime capacity as a transactional trade show with a range of speakers and seminars designed to engage the ever-evolving organic consumer.

Taking place at a time when consumers are increasingly aware of the benefits of organic, natural and sustainable products, NOPEX revolutionised its trade show model with its “best-ever” speaker line up which was headlined by retail guru Mary Portas and comprised over 50 industry experts.

“This year, it’s safe to say that we are looking towards the future,” says event director Annie Lindsell. “NOPEX has been the heart of the sector for 28 years and each year, we come together to make a difference. This is your place to meet like-minded industry professionals who care about our impact for change. We have seen another year of challenges through the continued rise of cost-of-living impacts on the climate and a decrease in footfall on our high streets. But where there are problems we look for solutions and, as an industry that originates from values and ethics, we show up to innovate and collaborate. We are here to set a standard in food, health and beauty, and it’s a standard that your consumers expect.”

Once again, Smart Display was the stand builder of choice for industry leaders Salus and Suma. Built on an ethos of taking a more sustainable approach to stand-building, the synergy between Smart Display and its clients in the organic sector has lent itself to a longstanding relationship with both brands.

Having first worked with Suma in 2019, Smart Display once again partnered with the vegan wholefood specialist to create a natural wood effect stand that re-used its key elements from last year. For Salus meanwhile, the complete re-use of all graphics and structure made for a cost-effective stand, as well as providing a greener approach to exhibiting that keeps materials out of landfill.

Those in the organic and natural sector can still attend NOPEX 2024 until 5pm this evening. If you are a potential exhibitor within this sector and would like to learn more about Smart Display’s sustainable approach to exhibition stand design and build, talk to us today.
