Best in Show
The London Vet Show is preparing for its best edition to date this November, having been named the Best Trade Show at this year’s Exhibition News Awards. The event was awarded the accolade in the 5,000-10,000 sq m category, with judges highlighting its attributes of business development and being a hub for clinical learning, as well as fulfilling its role as a transactional platform for the trade.
“It’s a fantastic feeling to be recognised by our peers in the events industry, but this win is truly for the veterinary community,” says Harry Norman, group event director of the London Vet Show. “Every decision we make is informed by the needs of our delegates – from students to vet nurses to clinicians and practice managers. We’re grateful to everyone who continues to champion the London Vet Show, and we’re already focused on making 2025 even better. This win is a clear signal that the veterinary community are receiving the best experience. A huge thank you to our amazing delegates, exhibitors and speakers for their support year on year, who make this show all it has become.”
The forthcoming edition of the London Vet Show will be its 16th to date, and is expected to bring together over 450 leaders in the veterinary fields. From pet nutrition and pet insurance through to suppliers to the veterinary trade and vets themselves, the London Vet Show is an essential date on the calendar for any professionals involved in pets and their car.
Having been involved with the show since 2023, Smart Display has established itself as the go-to partner for striking and sustainable exhibition stand design. Returning customers include Nutravet, Swedencare UK, Vetio and Innovet, all of whom have reported exemplary stand design and a level of customer service that guaranteed a frictionless journey to the exhibition.

“We had already had a stand built by Smart Display for Crufts and we were blown away with the service we received,” says Jessica Hargreaves, Swedencare’s content manager. “We had great contact with different departments throughout from idea conception right the way through to the stand being built on site.”
For Paul Wilson meanwhile – director at With Creative and marketing agent – selecting the right stand designer was essential in making the project a success.
“An exhibition stand is an extension of each company, so it’s important to establish a good impression and vision of what they do,” he says. “We have worked with Nutravet who have exhibited at the London Vet Show for many years, and it is one of the biggest trade events on their calendar. Building relationships is crucial, and it’s these events that help to develop these relationships through exposure and face-to-face conversations.”

As well as working with existing customers and strengthening their exhibition presence from one year to the next, Smart Display is also well-versed in helping brands looking to graduate from a shell scheme to their very first custom stand build. DNA Vetcare came on board with Smart Display last November, tasking the stand designer to maximise the potential of its 27 sq m space.

“Graduating from a shell scheme was an investment and risk, but on the day, everyone was stopping by our stand to say how great it looked,” says Paul Tarasco-Drake, project manager at DNA Vetcare. “The leads and enquiries were off the scale – I actually saw a competitor sitting miserably on a shell scheme stand and thought, that was us last year. We had a very clear idea about a hanging helix feature we wanted to reflect our DNA branding, and Smart Display brought that to life.”
Although floor space has been expanded for 2025, event organiser CloserStill Media has sold out of most floorspace already ahead of the November edition. If you are exhibiting, now is the ideal time to speak to Smart Display to find out how the event’s established partner for exhibition stand and build can elevate your brand presence for 2025 and beyond.
