A clean start
Interclean Amsterdam’s return to the RAI next year will mark a dynamic new chapter, spearheaded by a rebranded identity encompassing independence, authority and community. Having made its debut at its sister event in Shanghai last December, the new look will be unveiled at Interclean Amsterdam on 14-17 April 2026.
“This new look and feel is just the start!” says Interclean’s global director Robert Stelling. “Since our inception in 1967 we’ve always been passionate about forward thinking and building strategic partnerships. Interclean is no longer ‘just’ a trade show, but an internationally respected hub and global platform for businesses, industry experts and thought leaders to engage in an immersive experience as they discover the future of professional cleaning and hygiene. We wanted our brand to reflect this growth and our commitment to enabling the cleaning and hygiene industry to thrive.”
As a biennial event, Interclean Amsterdam is the first opportunity for the European cleaning trade to gather together since 2024. Following two years of innovation in infection control, robotic cleaning and touchless hygiene solutions, the April event promises to be an essential forum for education and networking opportunities, as well as commercial platform for the trade.
Taking place amidst the backdrop of Interclean’s new branding, the 2026 edition focuses on the strength of the community working together. The colours of the rebrand were selected to represent a sense of warmth and ‘being together’, while the revamped logo features a blended circle and octagon to represent continuity and strength.

Smart Display has played a pivotal role in the representation of UK brands at Interclean Amsterdam, having designed and installed exhibition stands at the event since 2020. Smart Display’s involvement with UK event the Cleaning Show has also strengthened its partnership with brands in the sector, and leaders in the cleaning field are increasingly turning to Smart Display as their trusted partner for the design and build of temporary architecture.

“Our work with cleaning company actually extends far beyond the UK,” says Smart Display’s sales manager Ben Rose. “Our client base for shows such as Interclean Amsterdam and the Cleaning Show extends as far as Singapore, and we have longstanding relationships with leaders in the cleaning field such as Varitech, ICE and the CSSA. We are already taking briefs for clients for the April edition of Interclean Amsterdam and, with floorspace selling fast, we would advise any potentially interested exhibitors –originating either from the UK or overseas – to get in touch with us this side of Christmas to get a design together for a striking yet sustainable exhibition stand.”

The 2026 edition of Interclean Amsterdam is set to be its biggest to date, and will acknowledge six decades of heritage in celebration of its inception in 1967. The forthcoming edition is set to surpass figures from its 2024 counterpart, which saw 30,000 visitors from over 120 countries attend to see an unprecedented line-up of 900 exhibitors.
