Installation inspiration
This year’s edition of the InstallerSHOW is firmly in the spotlight as the utilities sector races towards a greener future. Bringing together over 600 exhibitors in the heat, water, air and energy industries, the InstallerSHOW has increased its focus on destination Net Zero with a renewed partnership with Local Net Zero Hubs.
The Local Net Zero Programme will have a dedicated area at the event to showcase its work to support the Net Zero agenda in England. Comprising five regional hubs – North West, East & Yorkshire, Midlands, South West and Greater South East – the programme is a government initiative that forms part of the wider clean growth strategy for England.
“Last year, the Midlands Net Zero Hub attended the InstallerSHOW, and we are really looking returning this June, says Michael Gallagher, head of Midlands Net Zero Hub. “We are keen to connect with stakeholders from local authorities and industry experts who could work with us to accelerate progress to achieve Net Zero. It’s so important that efforts are collaborative; we cannot do this alone, so these types of events are vital to finding joint solutions and working together.”
As a regular exhibition stand installer at the InstallerSHOW, Smart Display is delighted to be bringing a new client on board with a strong focus on regulating the installation of solar power, photovoltaic energy and electrical vehicle charge point systems. Flexi-Orb is the oversight registration body for such installation, and is recognised by UKAS for the reassurance it provides to consumers looking to appoint the correct installer of solar power.
EOGB is also returning to the InstallerSHOW as a Smart Display client, having once again entrusted the exhibition stand designer to create its perfect brand environment, which draws upon the inspiration of a domestic setting to demonstrate the end-use of its heating systems.
Event organiser Lyrical Communications takes a multi-dimensional approach to staging events, guiding visitors through new innovations with on-hand experts to explain how these solutions might fit within building retrofit projects or new build schemes. There is also an extensive content programme across two theatres, with Dragons’ Den Deborah Meaden headlining a diverse line-up of industry speakers.
“The InstallerSHOW has changed, developed and grown and this has allowed us to expand our visitor database while still remaining loyal to the installers who made it all happen back in 2015,” says Eoin McManus, CEO at Lyrical Communications. “The show benefits from the huge potential and responsibility of decarbonisation and the journey to Net Zero, and I say responsibility because it is the people working across heat, water air and energy who are – and who will be – responsible for the design, development, implementation and delivery of the technologies that will deliver on climate targets, and the ultimate goal of Net Zero.
“That’s why our content programme is second to none; where else in the UK can we hear from the industry’s leading innovators and thinkers all in one place? That’s an awesome responsibility, so let’s make sure we do everything we can to get it right.”
If you are heading to the InstallerSHOW, be sure to head to stand 5H58 to discover the latest in home heating systems by industry stalwart EOGB, and stand 5D79 to make sure that you are fully-versed on the new Flexi-Orb scheme and how it can benefit you. There are also a few surprises in the store on the stand, guaranteed to create somewhat of a buzz amongst visitors.
The InstallerSHOW takes place at the NEC on 25-27 June.
