Next month will see the Smart Display team head out to AVT Stuttgart for Europe’s most influential hub for automotive innovation, research and development. This time building on behalf of RF Pro – the industry leader in engineering-grade simulation environments for the automotive industry – Smart Display will take care of every aspect of transportation, logistics, build and breakdown at this manufacturing hub of a city.

It’s a well-trodden route for Smart Display. As the destination for trade events including AMT Stuttgart, ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo and the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo Europe, Messe Stuttgart is an increasingly prominent venue for the manufacturing exhibition circuit.

Getting here

By car

There are direct connections to the A8 and A81 motorways and over 6700 parking spaces on site at Messe Stuttgart.

By train

From Stuttgart’s main station, you can reach the exhibition centre in just 30 minutes by tram or S-Bahn. Line U6 runs every ten minutes, and is clearly signposted for the Messe.

By air

Messe Stuttgart is located next to the city’s airport, meaning that visitors are just 355 steps away from their destination upon landing.

Eat

There are plenty of options on site for both lunch and dinner; Restaurant am Wasser offers space for up to 300 people – including on a spacious terrace and in an exclusive à la carte area. The Restaurant am Park, meanwhile, has room for 270 people, and its terrace in Messepark can accommodate an additional 100. Finally, Restaurant im Westen has space for 90 guests. Messe Stuttgart also invites guests to the bistros in its halls, the Hochland Café in the Atrium, and the Snack & Shops located at the Entrances East and West.

The subway (line U6) runs every ten minutes to the centre of Stuttgart, where you can discover a taste of historic Germany on Schlossplatz Square, a host of museums and art galleries and shopping on the city’s car-free Königstrasse.
