FOCUS ON: Düsseldorf

Messe Dusseldorf announced a major restructure of its management team this week, streamlining its operations across some of its flagship events. The move comes as part of a wider strategy to increase the venue’s market share, both through developing its current events and adding further shows to its bolster its portfolio of around 50 exhibitions annually.

“Our trade fair portfolios are now organised in such a way to foster the best possible synergies in the coming years,” says Wolfram N. Diener, who was announced as the new operative manager of printing technologies show drupa on Tuesday. “That’s how we’ll reinforce the leading position of our trade shows in Düsseldorf and worldwide – while further driving their growth.”

By tram

Take tram no.U78 towards Merkur Spiel-Arena / Messe Nord or tram no. U79 towards Messe Ost and alight at the Messe.

By air

You can travel directly to the Messe from Düsseldorf Airport via bus no. 896. If you prefer to take a taxi, all trips to and from all entrances of the Messe are subject to the same special rate of  €20, whatever the time of day or night.

By car

Head to the multistorey car park at exit 9 of the A10 Highway. There are 3200 spaces available, increasing to 5000 during large scale events. Spaces can be pre-booked on the rai.nl for 27 Euro per day.

Düsseldorf’s location on the banks of the River Rhine make for a picturesque city where business meets leisure.
