Back in business

This week sees the exhibitor list for the B2B Marketing Expo go live, and Smart Display is once again part of this exciting line-up of marketing specialists for the business-to-business sector.

Following its successful debut last year, Smart Display has increased its stand size and relocated to a more prominent position with a view to maximising its appeal to a highly-targeted audience of marketing professionals. The team will be out in force showcasing its expertise in exhibition stand design and build, with a suitably striking stand design of its own to demonstrate the immense potential of inspiring and engaging stand design.

“We were unsure what to expect when we made our foray into exhibiting last year, but the show was a real success for us,” says Smart Display’s managing director Chris Stewart. Having built hundreds of stands for a wide range of clients all over the UK and Europe, it made sense to create an exhibition presence of our own to demonstrate what we can do with a real-life showcase of inspiring stand design.”

Smart Display’s stand was the talking point of the exhibition last November, with its neon edging and a rotating hanging neon structure which rose far above any other stand in the exhibition hall. LED resin lettering on the counter was also a talking point, inspiring would-be clients with its speed- and colour-changing capabilities, controlled by remote control or via an app, while additional features included a living wall contrasting with a neon logo which will be retained and re-used.

Beyond the aesthetics however, the exhibition was an opportunity to explain to potential customers in more detail how stand design can be a sustainable process. In line with Smart Display’s ethos of avoiding landfill where possible, many of its elements were re-used from previous exhibition stands.

This year’s edition is an opportunity for Smart Display to build upon its presence with a development of its design concept. The team is looking forward to welcoming both new customers and those who came on board last year, many of whom have since enjoyed successful exhibitions of their own with Smart Display stands, as can be seen here.

“We chose the B2B Marketing Expo because it seemed to be the right platform from which to network with a range of businesses from SMEs to international companies looking to partner with a specialist stand designer,” continues Chris. “Across the two days, we were impressed with not only the level of footfall, but the calibre of visitors we welcomed onto the stand.

“Enquiries ranged from businesses looking to graduate from shell scheme to something more bespoke, established exhibitors looking to take their brand to the next level and newer businesses looking to break into exhibiting with an established stand installer who can project manage the procedure on their behalf.”
