Aviation innovation

Paris is setting the scene to host the latest innovations in aviation as the International Air Show makes a welcome return this June. Returning to the Paris Airport-Le Bourget following a two-year hiatus, the biennial event is an eagerly anticipated date by every who has an exhibition stand at Paris Air Show and aviation professionals all over the world.

Taking over Paris’s former principle airport for a full seven days, the Paris Air Show will host 150 aircraft and 210 flying displays, as well as providing a transactional platform for suppliers to the aviation sector. This year is tipped to welcome over 300,000 visitors to its sold-out event, which will showcase 2500 exhibitors from a total of 48 countries.

As a regular installer within the aviation industry, Smart Display is putting its expertise into action with plans to take global leaders in their field over to the Air Show. Having previously designed and installed for EASAT, Helispares, Alpine Air Support, Dart Aerospace and SA Catapult at aviation events all over Europe, Smart Display is the industry’s trusted partner for all aspects of exhibition stand design, build and project management.

“We’re delighted to be installing at the Paris Air Show,” says Smart Display’s sales manager Ben Rose. “We’ve seen a massive increase in enthusiasm for these events, which incorporate the theatre of aviation, education and innovation as well as a traditional trade exhibition model. With a full, in-house design studio and workshop, we are well-placed to create directional stand designs that elevate our clients above the competition, and align with each brand’s core values of sustainability.”

The most recent edition of the Paris Air Show was a record-breaker in itself, celebrating its 54th event with a total of 293,000 visitors, including a special appearance by President of France Emmanuel Macron. The show was even more eagerly anticipated following its four-year absence, having missed its 2021 edition due to the ongoing effects of the international pandemic. Having re-established itself as the world’s largest aviation event however, the Paris Air Show is ready to take to the skies once again with an even more comprehensive overview of the entire aviation sector.
