Ambiente sells out
International lifestyle exhibition Ambiente Frankfurt has announced that its floorspace has sold out across its trio of shows; Ambiente Dining, ChristmasWorld and CreativeWorld. The news comes as the event releases its new interactive floorplan for 2026, which is part of a new integrated digital platform which aims to connect visitors and exhibitors above and beyond the show.
“We are going one step further in digital networking,” says Philipp Ferger, vice president for Ambiente Frankfurt. “With the new digital networking tool, which is directly integrated into the event websites, networking becomes intuitive, year-round, cross-fair, and automatically available as soon as a ticket is purchased.”

The features are encouraging visitors to start planning their seasonal buying four months ahead of Ambiente Frankfurt, and exhibitors are advised to invest into both their digital and physical exhibition presence to maximise the potential of engaging with show delegates.
“It’s never been more important to consider your exhibition presence both in the halls and in the lead up to the event,” says Christina Chambers, Smart Display’s marketing manager. “Four months ahead of doors opening is the perfect time to take a holistic approach to marketing your brand, both through the design of your physical exhibition stand and across your own digital channels to capture the attention of visitors looking to attend the show. Your exhibition stand is an essential platform for engagement during the exhibition but, above and beyond those few days, it plays an essential role in your wider strategy to take your brand to the international market.”
This year saw Smart Display design and install the temporary architecture which launched Utopia as Steelite-Utopia to the European market at Ambiente Frankfurt. The exhibition was the culmination of eight months of rebranding and repositioning the Derbyshire-based hospitality brand as an international purveyor of tableware for the worldwide market, and it was a smooth transition according to those at the helm of the brand.

“At the start of this year we were in the early stages of our relationship with Smart Display who historically had produced work for Utopia Tableware – now Steelite-Utopia,” says June Billings, trade show manager at Steelite-Utopia. “We had to trust Smart Display a lot due to the new relationship bringing historical assets, but communication was brilliant and we felt that there was a great attention to detail when it came to logistics and the wider project planning. The transition from one brand to another went smoothly, and evolved naturally at Ambiente Frankfurt”

Smart Display is already working with UK brands for its 2026 exhibition stand and, following expansion, has capacity to take on further projects for the February event.

“Our overseas work is increasing year-on-year, and Frankfurt in particular is becoming a second home for our installations team, who build at the Messe at events throughout the year,” says Smart Display’s sales manager Ben Rose. “Interestingly, it’s not just British brands who are entrusting the design and build of the stands to Smart Display; overseas companies and US firms in particular are keen to work with Smart Display because, as well as statement design and sustainable build, we can offer seamless project management with regards to logistics, customs and transportation, guaranteeing a frictionless journey for clients wanting to fly into a fully-functioning exhibition stand the day before the show starts.”
