All they want for Christmas

The Toy Fair has topped this festive season’s most wanted list with a second announcement that the show has sold out.

Having first announced back in August that exhibition space had sold out, the show expanded into the Upper West Hall of London’s Olympia to accommodate demand. But as Christmas approaches, it seems that the show has topped the industry’s wishlist with a further announcement that only a waiting list is now available for would-be exhibitors.

The strong pre-sales for the show indicate that next year’s edition – the show’s 70year anniversary edition – will be its biggest-ever to date. For Smart Display, it’s our opportunity to return to the show for the fourth time and unveil even more stand-out stands than ever before.

“The nature of the Toy Fair allows our designers to get creative with colour, branding and interactive features,” says Smart Display’s marketing executive Christina Chambers. “The show has grown in popularity over the past few years, and we are confident that we have created the right sort of innovative stand builds that will ensure our customers stand out from the competition.”

Smart Display’s clients – which include 8th Wonder and Bliss Distribution – are amongst 200 exhibitors gathering at the Toy Fair on 23-25 January next year. Leading names include Lego, Hasbro, Tomy and Playmobil.

“Toy Fair 2024 is shaping up to be a very exciting and busy show,” says event director Majen Immink. “To be able to expand into the Upper West Hall to accommodate the growing demand for space on top of an extremely high returnee rate speaks volumes for the strength of the show and the importance and value the industry places on it.”
